Guide for Floor 12

Floor 12 ley line disorder

Ley Line Disorder:

+ For this floor only, the ley line flow will be normal.

General Tips

+ If the floor is too hard for you, don't forget that changing teams is an option. Although you need to start from Chamber 1, at least you don't have to worry about stars for the Chamber you already completed.

+ If the floor is too hard for you, don't forget that changing teams is an option. Although you need to start from Chamber 1, at least you don't have to worry about stars for the Chamber you already completed.

+ In the First Half, any elemental reactions are great for this floor, but one important element you need to bring is Hydro (because of the Pyro shield from Abyss Lector in Chamber 1). In addition, I recommend bringing at least one Anemo CC to the battle because there are lots of enemies in each chamber that can be gathered here to save your time. Among those characters, if you have to choose, bring a healer instead of a shielder because there are Shadowy Husk enemies in Chamber 2. They will gain buffs if their attacks hit a shielded character.

+ In the Second Half, the best element to bring here would be Electro just because you may need it when the Primal Constructs enter the invisibility state (As for the reactions, I suggest Catalyze or Hyperbloom). Anemo CC isn't really needed here because the only chamber that has many enemies is Chamber 1, but Chambers 2 and 3 are just bosses that can't be gathered. Also, AoE DPS here is a great option because the last boss (Coral Defender- 2 Vishaps) has a mechanism that allows one of them to be revived back if the remaining Vishap is not killed within 10 seconds (just like Kairagi). With AoE DPS, you can inflict the same amount of damage to both Vishaps and make sure both HPs are on the brink before you defeat them both at the same time. Or at least make sure you can defeat the other Vishap within the 10 seconds timeframe.

In the first wave, all Whelps spawn near each other at the center of the arena. It's best if you bring Anemo CC here since these bad dogs really love to teleport. When these Whelps take their respective elemental damage (Geo for Rockfond and Electro for Thundercraven), they will enter an Elemental Devourer state that allows them to attack more fiercely (has reduced attack cooldown) and has less RES to that respective element.

That may sound great, but actually not really since the lowered RES they will obtain later is only -10%. I rather recommend you go with any elemental reactions you like with the addition of one Anemo CC to gather and stagger them so they can't attack you. If you don't have any Anemo CC, then go to the wall at the front area of the arena to restrict their movements even a little bit.

In the second wave, all enemies spawn near each other in the front area (this is why I mentioned going to the wall at the front before). The strategy for the Rifthound is similar to the Whelp as before, as their difference is just the HP pool (and attacks). Remember that these Rifthounds & Whelps' attacks can apply stacks of Corrosion status, which will cause all your characters to continually lose HP. Shields can't help protect your team from this debuff but a healer can! Heal to remove the Corrosion status.

While for the Abyss Lector, he is the one you need to prioritize first (if you can tank the Corrosion from Rifthound) because he's quite slow in chasing after you while the big dogs are fast as lightning, in addition to him having a second phase with a Pyro shield on.

Deplete his HP to critical health (20%) before he will imbue themselves with Pyro shield. Obviously, Hydro is the best against this Pyro shield. During this second phase, watch out for the Darkfire Furnace that he will summon. Once this thing appears on the field, go for this furnace and destroy it using elemental attacks (Hydro is the best). This is because the Lector will summon many flames to flare from the ground for the entire duration of Darkfire Furnace is on the field. In addition, once this furnace is gone, it will also deplete the Lector's shield and stagger him for a second.

In the first wave, these triangle enemies will spawn near each other so you don't really need an Anemo CC (especially since the remaining floors are bosses). They can enter an invisible state, and once they do, you will have 3 options below. Personally, I prefer the inflict Quicken method because it's faster than the first method:

1. Destroy the parts they leave on the field then use Electro
2. Inflict Quicken (Dendro x Electro) on the invisible part (you can still see their form faintly)
3. Wait for a long time before they will end the invisible state and appear again

In the second wave, the two Hatchlings spawn near each other at the back of the arena. I had mentioned this before on Floor 11 and I'll say it again, if you don't bring Anemo CC, you can walk to the nearest wall and corner yourself there so the Hatchlings won't have much space to be far from each other. One of the skills you need to watch out for is the Cleansing Shower. Characters hit by their Cleansing Shower attack will lose a certain amount of Elemental Energy. If your characters do not have sufficient Elemental Energy, they will lose HP.

In the third wave, the three enemies spawn far from each other. Go to any of the Hilichurl Rouge so the Lawachurl (and possibly the other Rouge) will chase after you. This is because the Lawachurl will 100% go right at you after they spawn, while the Rouges kind of take their time before deciding that you're too far before they chase after you. If by the time the first Rouge is dead but the second Rouge is still alive, focus on them first before the Lawachurl.

Although Lawachurl hits harder than the Rouge, they're much easier to defeat because of the constant Electro shield it has. You can take advantage of it and inflict various elemental reactions with it until the shield disappears.

F12 C1 First Half

Using Anemo CC is much easier than cornering them near a wall.

F12 C1 Second Half

Among the 3 Primal Constructs, go to either the right or left one (not the middle one), so the opposite one will come towards you (like in the GIF above).

In the first wave, all enemies spawn far from each other. If you don't bring Anemo CC, once the challenge started, go to any of the Pyroslinger and stand behind him so when he turns, his back will face the other Pyroslinger. This is because if we get too close to them, he will jump back. If you position yourself correctly, he will jump back to at least the center of the arena. Don't worry about the Desert Clearwaters because those ladies will chase after you persistently.

Upon reaching 50% HP or after some time has passed, these Fatui will generate a Pyro shield that increases their RES and enhance their attacks. It's best if you break their shield first because those increased RES is a lot. It's extremely weak to Hydro so you won't take too much time breaking it.

Desert Clearwater has a pretty boring skill and nothing too noteworthy except for entering an enhanced state when her HP is lower than 70%. This will let her enter an Infused Form (her attacks will now deal Hydro DMG). You can't cancel this state and can only wait for 20 seconds so the enhanced attack will disappear and she will be stunned. But 20 seconds is too long and honestly, you should be able to defeat her within those timeframes because her Elemental RES did not increase.

In the second wave, the enemies spawn near each other at the back of the arena. Immediately run to the back and focus on the Line Breaker first (the blue one). This is because they have a skill that charges ahead, leading them to be far away from the group. Since all four enemies mostly group together (if not for the fact that Line Breaker keeps running away), the collateral damage should be able to chip away everyone's health there, especially the tanky Rockbreaker Ax with the highest HP.

I don't recommend bringing a shielder or Physical character because once any Shadowy Husk
and Black Serpent attack your shielded characters, they will gain a buff for themselves and
for nearby Husks at the cost of losing some of their health. They also have resistance against
Physical attacks.

1) Line Breaker (Hydro one): Heal themselves and nearby Husks.
2) Standard Bearer (Pyro one): Generate a Pyro shield for themselves and nearby Husks.
3) Defender (Cryo one): Their bow will act as a shield that blocks attacks from the front.
4) Rockbreaker Ax: Enter a state that increases its ATK by 20% and all resistance is increased by 50%.

F12 C2 First Half

The Pyroslinger will jump back if you get too close, so use that to your advantage and make him jump to the center near the other Pyroslinger.

F12 C2 Second Half

ASIMON will always teleport in front of where it facing. Also, the Homing Shot will aim at the invisible core and not the constructs left behind so use that to your advantage.

There is only one wave here and it's ASIMON. Although this boss will often enter invisibility mode by firing out components toward you just like the smaller Primal Construct, the boss is impossible to spot because even the outline can't be seen. The methods to paralyze it and cancel its invisibility are still the same:

1. Use Catalyze reaction on the cores (hidden main body).
2. Destroy and use Electro attack on the components.

I prefer the first one because that method is much faster in paralyzing it, and the second method took too much time as the components are quite tanky. One of the best methods to search for the core is by having auto attacks like Yae Miko or Fischl. Their Skill (Sesshou Sakura and Oz) can detect the invisible core and attack it, making its location known to you. Then you can use a Dendro character for Dendro attacks. Another option is Zhongli: His shield can show the location of the core when you're near it (Or any other characters that can inflict debuff on Matrix as the debuff will remain visible).

If you don't bring any characters above, I suggest going for the second method which is destroying and using Electro attacks on the components. While it may take time because there are multiple components, it is better than making your character attacks air trying to search for the core.

If you still want to search for the main core, there is another option. It will always try to teleport in front of where it is facing. So if you're fighting it from the front of it > It turns invisible> It will be most likely behind you. Elemental Sight does NOT work in searching for the core.

Slowing Water Aura: Increase Skill CD by 150% for any skill cast while the debuff is active. This will be cast on any character within its radius every 15s. Lightning Bolt Matrix Aura: Spawns 2 lightning chains that deal Electro DMG every 0.2s if the player touches them. Mist Bubble Aura: Spawn Mist Bubbles around the player every 12s, which trap the player and deal Hydro DMG if they touch them.

- In the first wave, both enemies spawn near each other and have their respective Aura. Among the two, prioritize the Desert Clearwater since her Slowing Water Aura is the most annoying one. In fact, both Eremites will chase after you, so you would often find these two close together and perfect for AoE damage.

- Daythunder is not to be underestimated either since his attacks have quite a large AoE and with the combination of their elements, you will get Electro-Charged easily (+ the damage from Daythunder's Aura). With the debuff that makes your character's Skill CD longer, you will have a hard time healing or casting a shield, so be sure to avoid most incoming attacks and pay close attention to your health.

- In the second wave, both enemies still spawn near each other so you will have an easy time gathering them. Both the Mirror Maiden and Scorhing Loremaster have a skill that allows them to teleport, which is very annoying. And among these two, it's better to prioritize the Mirror Maiden not only because of her Mist Bubble Aura but also because her teleport skill will often teleport away from your location, while the Loremaster will often teleport near you.

There is only one wave here and it’s the Coral Defender boss. It has the same Cleansing Shower attacks as other Vishap that will drain Energy from your active character. If said character don't have enough Energy, they will lose HP. Aside from this attack, all their Skills are manageable and can be avoided with proper timing.

Although one skill you need to be aware of is the Double Beams (not an official name), where once one of the Vishap reaches critical health, both of them will join their tails at the center of the arena and form a circular field. Do not enter the circular field unless you are confident with your character's HP or have a shield because that field deals Cryo and Electro DoT simultaneously.

Lastly, the most important thing you need to know is that they have a special ability in this abyss where once one of the Vishap is defeated, a visible link will appear connecting the two Vishaps. If one of the Vishap is defeated and the other Vishap is not defeated within the next 10 seconds, the defeated Vishap will be revived. 10 seconds is not long, especially if you bring an AoE DPS instead of a single-target one. So pay attention to their health and make sure their health is almost equal, so if one Vishap is defeated, you can defeat the other one within the time limit.

F12 C3 First Half

Loremaster is much nicer than Mirror Maiden because she willingly teleports to us, unlike Maiden who loves to teleport farther away from us.

F12 C3 Second Half

You have 10 seconds to defeat the remaining Vishap, or the defeated one will be revived.
